There is no clear possibility that oil prices will decrease in the following days, which is why energy watchers all over the globe are busy updating their statistics on global oil stipulation by major importers. On the other hand, we cannot help but sympathize with consumers promoting alternative energy sources. Although majority of our industries are fueled by oil, the drawing back of consumers from oil exporters is very apparent.
The aforementioned scenario is reported by an energy agency based in the city of Paris. It said that it reduced the growth of its oil demand by ten thousand. That leaves Paris with a consumption of 1.24 barrels of oil per day. True, oil prices became unpredictable since the issue on oil poverty came about. Add to that the rising of stocks of crude oil.
The demand for oil is nonetheless dampened by high prices. Among the highly affected countries are America and China. The two major oil burners reported a decrease in oil stipulation, lower than what has been reported last year. Although they failed to touch the baseline, the Parisian energy agency is hopeful that China will increase its oil demand before the year ends. Meanwhile, buoyancy is still seen in oil exporting nations' reports that reveal that they pumped additional hundred thousands of oil a month ago.

We can only hope that we can really depend on alternative sources. Since the day the news on oil and energy poverty came about, scientists, engineers, and even investors started presenting to us their discoveries – alternative energy sources. As time went by, it seemed that the discoverers and pioneers of such sources are likely to become the providers also. This brings us to realization that sooner or later, investors will turn to these energy dealers.
Investing in energy would be a wise decision. Energy is a major commodity so providers won't run out of customers. I also imagine transnational industrial corporations joining the club of potential individual investors. If such would be a huge success, then the United States would be on top of the list of participants. It declared that there are potential local and foreign investors that are interested in plunging on alternative sources.
Apparently, United States is an advocate of alternative sources of energy. If we try to recall, it proposed a global partnership for nuclear energy. Currently, there are fund raising activities participated by individual energy investors and car manufacturers. The funds support companies who are interested in investing to alternative sources. Needless to say, the people are really thinking that we're running out of oil.

Hydrogen is odorless, invisible, and explosive. Although these characteristics seem to pose threat to hydrogen fuel consumers, we cannot deny the fact that compared to diesel, hydrogen is by far the most earth-friendly fuel. We can only thank Mother nature for the abundance of this element in our atmosphere and all we need to do is to utilize it.
Problems arise when car engines are already filled with hydrogen fuel. There are no guarantees that there would be no leaks. Such leakage will result in explosion. Of course, nobody would want his car blown up by hydro fuel. To prevent this from happening, there is a gadget called hydrogen sensor. Its task is to detect the slightest leaks. It is devised to work together with car engines, refrigerators, motors, pumps, or with just any machine provided that it gives off vibration.
According to the researches conducted in Florida, the sensors work independently. Given the enough time, manufacturers would be able to develop a miniature version of the card stack-sized sensor. If the technology would be widely used then we'll have less polluted air. I can imagine earth-friendly Toyota cars running on hydro fuel and utilize hydro sensors.

When energy poverty and business men collide, what is the result? Energy market, of course. News have been hovering around US that companies, individuals and groups who incidentally or intentionally researched for alternative sources, will likely to make money out their pursuits. Well, if you ask me, business is business, and there is no way that we will ever alleviate energy poverty if we will put high prices to these sources. Of course, we cannot let the idea of importation and exportation escape from this idea.
Word is, there are countries who overlook their natural energy sources that they resolve to buying from suppliers outside their territories. Cases like these often happen especially to countries who do not have the enough means to build energy projects. However, if we look deeper, there are, in reality, source of energy in each and every nation. I hope you still remember the Australian and Norwegian hydroelectrical sources, the American nuclear and solar energy sources, and the Middle east fuel source. The main problem, however, is the consumption rates among these nations. This is fairly understandable, since a populated country like America needs the most energy supply, while the small continent of Australia will face a relatively low rate of energy poverty. If worse becomes worst, buying energy from other countries can cost our lives. So, marketing energy will not be a favorable idea.

It is fairly incredible that all sorts of business industries are devising their own means to conserve energy and discover alternative energy sources. Not only that, some of their discoveries even benefit the people as a whole. This is probably the biggest help they could give their fellow men. Very few companies did their own researches as to how to improve their energy conservation. In return, their products mirror their mission. This mission has already been accomplished by car manufacturers.
In particular, I am talking of Toyota and Honda, two of the pioneers of hydrogen operated cars. Just what is the good in using hydrogen? Well, as explained by its creators, we have an abundance of hydrogen in the atmosphere, thus all we need to do is utilize it. Aside form being earth-friendly, hydrogen engines produce less noise. But, having hydrogen as fuel will require car manufacturers a massive change in their engine designs. Hydrogen must be stored in tanks with low-pressure. Not doing this will result into explosion, and this is what draws customers back from using hydrogen cars.
However, given the proper preparation, and sufficient budget, the process can be done. I just imagine my new Toyota Camry being converted into a hydro car. That would be the best achievement of my life. I mean, I will be able to drive along the city, while producing new fumes at all.

I just like the fact that the British government is pursuing its projects with regards to alleviating the fuel scarcity in the country. Poverty in fuel, as they say, is a major issue in the country. Needless to say, with the rapid growing of population and business facilities in the country, the risk of having unsustainable fuel is relatively high.
However, the government has already made plans as to how to solve the problem. According to the study conducted by the Energy Department, a regular household is compelled to disburse more on its fuel consumption. This is mainly because it must add few more percentage of fuel to its house heat exchanger. This is true especially during winter time. However, though the scarcity seems still tolerable, the government is predicting that UK might one day freeze in cold all because of fuel scarcity.
By the way, the want for fuel is affected by the family income, the pricing of energy, and the status of the efficiency of energy. This only proves that if a family is well-off, it can afford to buy enough fuel. While, the poor folks will have to suffer in cold days. I am just glad that I do not face crisis with fuel. But, maybe, sooner or later, I will also have insufficient fuel to run my heat exchanger.

Just like you, I am also still not convinced whether the Bush administration will succeed in encouraging other nations to use nuclear energy sources. From the term itself, it seems like we might explode with the wrong use of the energy. I am also starting to be fed up by these debates going on the Congress. The issue has not been really settled, but Bush is putting all his efforts to make this idea into reality.
But, wait a minute. Maybe, our knowledge of the said energy source is limited to misconceptions. Probably, the insufficient information we have the television programs and newspapers is the reason that we are bothersome of this matter. I admit that I only understood of the whole thing after reading the news on the plans of the government to go on with a partnership neighboring nations with regards to the promotion nuclear energy. He has long been appealing to the distinguished European nations, as well as Asian countries to support his notion. All this time, he has been constantly explaining that nuclear energy is safe because it does not emit carbon dioxide, while maintaining the process of recycling used fuel. I am pretty sure, the partnership will have to wait for a longer time. Decision making is very hard. Besides, each country has its own energy sources. So, if every one will use the nuclear energy, then other sources will be taken for granted. I hope President Bush will contemplate on this.

Always work, but serious play. It seems like this is what the UK energy watch company does everyday. I cannot seem to imagine how the company is able to monitor all the activities of the power suppliers around Britain. Definitely, the job requires all-day and all-night monitoring of the filthy suppliers who do not serve their customers well.
I never realized how difficult it is to handle the complaints of the consumers until I learned of the mission undertaken by UK energy watch. First of all, it is very hard to gather information on failing companies. Then, there comes a time when the evidences had to be studied further, so an immediate action could be formed. I feel fortunate to have not been experiencing such power interruptions. Here in our neighborhood, we are supplied by the power company authorized by the government, so there is little chance that anomalies might occur. But, unlike in Britain, there are various independent suppliers, and some of them do good business, while some do the otherwise. This scenario creates different situations for different locations in the country.
Interesting was the dedication of the company to serve the British consumers by proper information dissemination. There was an article that told of the plan of the company to put more attention to consumers who are disabled, low-earning individuals, and old citizens. Wow! If that is the case, then it is safe to say that the energy watch also serves as part of the British welfare system I just hope the same applies to my place.

Care to know what is going inside the mind of the President of the great United States? Well, it is safe to say that the idea is going around the energy watch in US. You know, even the strongest nation would melt knowing that there is scarcity in energy supply. Add to the that the economy that cannot shoulder the expenses to supply its needs. If you ask me, there are many solutions to the problem. But, all the government does is start things up and leave them unfinished. We were made to conserve energy but for few days. I observe the great futility of initial plans. This worsens the situation.
I just thought, US has so many friends, so why not lean on them? Oh, I forgot. We are dealing with business here, not simply national welfare. I have read of all these acclaimed studies on the energy supply of US. But, none was made into a huge success. I almost feared that New York will be the first one to experience power outage, since it is the biggest consumer.
When I look outside my room window, I could still see the areas intended for the studies. Coals, carbon fuels, oil, and fossil-fuel were all lined up, and have been given their designated areas in the city. As I have always been saying, nature will provide us of our needs, so there is no use in making our own energy source. Besides, creation of energy sources obstruct the natural flow of nature. In my neighborhood alone, I could smell the stink of divers chemical waste emitted by industrial plants. This thing kills us. I mean, the manufacturers are turning into murderers. This issue has long been debated in the congress. But, until now, it was not concluded. You know what, instead of continuing the arguments, the government signed in nuclear pacts. They say the nuclear fusion is less harmful to environment. I say nuclear fusion, as source of energy, is as dangerous as putting your hands on burning coals. I still do not where President Bush is leading to.

With unpredictable temperature shifts, we can never be sure if the earth's energy reserves can support the whole planet. That is why, in my own little way, I try to conserve energy for I am afraid that someday the earth will run out of energy. I know that energy conservation will produce better results in the long run.
One great way of doing this is by minimizing the use of electrical appliances at home and at the workplace. I was truly elated when California, in connection with various organizations and businesses, works to address the possible problem of power shortage. One great program of the state takes effect when power supplies are not that high. As such, organizations and businesses minimized power consumption through some adjustments unknown to employees and customers.
This process is actually being scheduled and eventually dispatched to grids for transmission where and when needed. This is really wonderful because in turn these organizations and businesses are being paid by the state, thus helping them offset costs and maintain jobs in the state. In addition this state program help curve the cost needed to set up new power plants that are needed otherwise. This collaborative effort ensures cost-efficient power supply.

Energy is everywhere. You can feel it from the heat of the sun on a hot day. Energy from a cell phone battery allows you to talk on your mobile phone. Gasoline allows you to use your car for traveling. Electricity allows long use of your personal computer. These are a few of the many energy resources that humans use everyday.
Energy resources may be classified into two: renewable and non- renewable resources. The first category is those that are continuously replaced such as solar energy. This energy is derived from on-going natural process such as the flowing water, wind, sunshine, geothermal heat among others. Since it is renewable, this type of energy can be trapped and then transformed into other forms of energy that is more convenient such as solar panels and wind mills. On the other hand non-renewable energy is that which cannot be replaced like petroleum, gas, coal and nuclear energy. Petroleum, gas and coal are what we call fossil fuels because they have been developed underneath the Earth’s surface millions of years ago. These energy sources will soon deplete, that is, if we do not conserve and use them wisely.

You have probably already heard about the news about the power struggle in the Middle East especially with the America. The award-winning movie "Syriana" has tackled about this issue. There have been media programs that have looked deeper in the topic. What's the fuss, you ask. Well, the figures show (although this may not be completely accurate, but it nearly is) that the world's supply of oil has been reduced to 50%; and 50% of it is in the Middle East. Now you truly get the picture.
In years to come, if we still can't find a substitute for oil in all our industries and vehicle use, the monopoly of oil distributors around the world will have a greater hold on each of our necks. We all know that the economy and price of basic commodities rely on the fluctuation of oil prices. If the inevitable happens, like the shortage of oil, the law of supply and demand will tighten all our budgets. We must certainly think ahead. Start supporting researches that look for alternative solutions to this problem. Invest in cars that will be of more practical use in years to come. The key is to be always prepared.

So you're wondering why your energy bills never seem to decrease, when you're not really doing anything. Well, that's one of the major problems, according to the energy watch recent surveys, everyday routines spent inside the homes contribute to the increase in energy bills. Now, what does this mean exactly?
If you're currently unemployed, retired, you're working from your homes, or you're ill, these are reasons why the electricity in your homes is constantly being used. Obviously, the heater is on the whole day, you watch television, you use every single electronics known to mankind. The only solution is to be aware of the energy that you're constantly utilizing, instead of just turning everything on, without you really using it, conserve the energy, use what you really need to use.

If you think that burning wood in your fire place saves you energy and is a natural heat provider, then, you might want to think about that again. Using a fire place actually harms the environment and you're actually eliminating at least 20% of heat in your home. Fire places also tend to cause house fires if not carefully supervised.
I know fireplaces give off that romantic and homey feel at nights but you should consider the damage that it's causing to the air and to your homes. Save the fire place scenario for special winter occasions, you might actually appreciate it more. There are other ways to keep yourselves warm at nights, don't you think so?

There are various organizations who specialize on energy consumption and resolution. People actually can save thousands of dollars by cutting on electricity around the house and gas consumptions, they just don't know the proper or correct way of doing it. Energy watch is all about correcting those mistakes by being, well, watch dogs. These are not literally watch dogs, I'm talking about the energy companies who make it a point to implement new rules on energy usage to prevent waste of energy and over-consumption of resources, which, in reality, can be lessened. This will make electric bills cheaper and gas consumption lower. These companies are giving out something for free; full awareness on the proper way of energy consumption. Just click on any energy watch website, and you'll surely learn something, it's going to change your electric bills, just like that!
